The Nepalese community living in the Algarve is preparing a trip from Albufeira to its home country next year. With the support of CLAIM (Local Support Center for the Integration of Migrants of the Municipality of Albufeira) is engaged in the dissemination of various aspects of Nepalese culture.







In this context, the NRNARCC – Association of Nepalese Residents in the Algarve will promote tomorrow Sunday, February 24, the 1st Festival of Nepal in the Algarve (13h00-20h00) to let the people experience “ONE COUNTRY, MANY STORIES”.

The EMA – Multipurpose Space of Albufeira will open its doors to the conviviality, to the good gastronomy of that country, to music, crafts, dances and much more.

THE ENTRANCE IS FREE.

The NRNARCC – Association of Nepalese Residents in the Algarve is headquartered in Quarteira, a city that hosts around 300 Nepalese, the second largest immigrant community in Nepal in the Algarve, after Albufeira, with about 500 Nepalese. Throughout the Algarve, the NRNARCC estimates that about 300 Nepalese residents live.

The CLAIM – Local Support Center for Migrant Integration in the municipality of Albufeira is a service that supports the immigrant community residing in the county, providing support in terms of reception, information, referral processes and promotion of several initiatives to facilitate their process of social integration.
